Unlike the US and Europe, which are developing 6th-generation jets sequentially after 4th and 5th generations, we have chosen an ‘unconventional’ strategy of going directly from the 4.5-generation KF-21 to the 6th generation.
The 89.8 billion won 6th-generation fighter jet bridge technology development project, led by the Agency for Defense Development (ADD), has already begun. This includes goals such as:

* Integrating manned-unmanned teaming technology
* Developing enhanced stealth capabilities and internal weapon bays
